Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW)
Applicants do not need to have friends or family in the UK in order to visit the country. An Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) allows nationals of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar or the United Arab Emirates to travel to the UK for leisure, business, study, visit family and friends, take part in sports and creative events, receive private medical treatment or purely to visit the country for up to six (6) months. The UK is extremely diverse in its landscape and people and has a wealth of culture, history and scenic beauty that can be discovered and explored. The application is completed online and authorizations will generally be granted within several hours.
Although this visa does not entitle applicants to work in the UK, it does offer them the chance to experience UK’s many attractions and explore options for further stays in the UK.
Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) Basic Requirements
Passport holders from Applicants from Kuwait, Oman, Qatar or the United Arab Emirates can apply for an Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) prior to any short travel to the UK for a single entry up to 6 months.
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

possess a current passport,

possess an address in the UK where you intend to stay,

details of your journey, including departure and arrival dates and times, and
-
submit the application for the Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) within 3 months and 48 hours before the intended travel to the UK.
Results are generally delivered within hours but can take up to several days in some cases. Applicants must still satisfy conditions for entry and ensure that they are criminally and medically admissible to enter the UK.
Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) Entitlements
This visa entitles holders to visit the UK for up to a maximum of six (6) months with a single entry and allowing them to experience life and culture in the UK.
As a visitor, tourists are free to travel anywhere throughout the UK and visit family, friends and experience Canada’s many attractions. They may also register for short courses relating to areas of general interest and self-improvement or to learn English or French. During their stay, visitors can meet with prospective employers or recruiters and seek out exciting employment opportunities, explore world-class schools and educational institutions to pursue further studies, and investigate options for extending their stay in the UK.
Visitors can also take advantage of the many world-renowned festivals, cultural and artistic events which take place throughout the year, as well as explore the many attractions and landmarks located in the UK.
